You can't be serious!

My FB "friend" with her latest status:

This is a status I just could NOT pass up: When you carry the Bible, Satan gets a headache. When you open it, he collapses. When he sees you reading it, he faints. When he sees you living it, he flees. And just when you're about to re-post this, he'll try to discourage you. I JUST DEFEATED HIM! Copy and re-post if you can...AMEN!!!

True Christians, you must not allow those among you to post things like this. It does not exactly sing out intelligence. I don't respond to her on Facebook because there is no possible way to. This kind of person has absolutely no grasp on reality.

That's how Satan wants you to respond.

You're just the dark lords dupe.

Jesus, what a power tool. (Or is that 'Jesus: what a power tool'?) Apparently Satan is a virtuoso of resurrection, killed again and again for millennia yet always there to fight another day.

That kind of status would get an instant unfriending from moi. ;-)

I think your challenge for true Christians to speak up on this is spot on, the fallout of doing that is totally fine with me...it's just that I don't see it very often in my circle of friends.

Oh by the way, my review of Black Swan is up...

Thanks Sadie. I already read your review (except for the spoilers) and am looking to watch the movie before I put up my top 10 movies of 2010. Just saw True Grit and loved it and also wanted to see The King's Speech and The Fighter.

I want to see True Grit and I'm skeptical of The King's Speech-I saw the trailer and I'm reminded of how sometimes, the trailer snips together all the best parts and then when you watch the movie, it's all the filler in between that makes for a long, drawn out, uneventful movie. I love Rush and Firth though...sooo...the jury is out!

The King's Speech was good ... not as good as True Grit was. Rush and Firth were fantastic, as they always are.
