River of God's is fantastic.

Josh -- That's cool to hear. I liked the cover and the blurb, so it's good to know I wasn't completely off base in picking it up.

I'm reading Bear's The Forge of God right now and it's good so far. Apparently I like books about God. Or maybe just books with God in the title. I forget.

Lots of great stuff there. I read Dennett's Darwin's Dangerous Idea, but it's the only one of his I have.

I read Ender's Game recently, my introduction to that series. I enjoyed the book, though was surprised to learn later that Card is a raging homophobe. Anyway, I'll be curious to hear what you think of a sequel (there are many, no?).

I did not know that about Card, but I am not surprised. He's as Mormon as they come.

I too just recently read Ender's Game. It seems to be among the favorite sci-fi novels of a quite a few fans of the genre and I figured it was time for me to read. I liked it well enough but wouldn't call it one of my all-time faves. I have most of the sequels and will get around to them eventually.

I loved Ender's Game. I had trouble with the sequels and I gave up on them in the middle of the third one.
I didn't know Card was a Mormon.

You seem to be making up for all the people who don't themselves read books! That's a good thing.
