I am curretly reading Carl Sagan's Cosmos and just today watched the film Contact, based on his novel by the same name.
Sagan is going up there alongside H.G.Wells, Terry Gilliam and Alan Moore, as one of the authors who has most greatly changed and influenced my world view.
