Handsome B. Wonderful said...: I heard this new Superman movie has heavy Christian symbolism in it. Not that there is anything wrong with Christianity but isn't Superman supposed to be a comic book hero and not a Super Jesus???; 2:22 PM

I hadn't heard that. Great, just what we need ... more Christianity. It was OK with Narnia because we all understood that the source-material had it. But I don't believe that the genesis (no pun intended) of Superman included any overt Christian imagery. I had heard that the original Superman may have been based on Nietzsche's "overman". That would be cooler ... and funnier.; 4:58 PM
